Moorooka Family Fun Day
Victory Park

Moorooka Family Fun Day on the 22nd of August was an opportunity to get out and advertise the history group in a family setting. Young and old were curious and some good conversations were had. The Moorooka History Group held an information stall adjacent. Thanks to the Lions Club and Cr Griffiths for their support.

Victory Park now has a sign erected on Beaudesert Road near the bus stop. A history shed will be erected in the park soon, at the entrance to Cutler Avenue. Both the Coopers Plains and Moorooka History Groups have done a great deal of research in preparation for the shed. They have worked with Council’s Parks division to prepare information boards for the shed that present local history of Salisbury, Moorooka and the broader area.
